Final Workshop - May 2012 - Edinburgh

The final UC4G workshop was held over three days at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh from the 29th to the 31st of May 2012. Approximately 60 people attended this workshop.

The first day of the workshop saw the opening of the new, 'UK-China Joint R&D Centre for Future Wireless Networks'. The focus of the remainder of the first day was on testbed development with the highlight being a demonstration of video transmission using the novel spatial modulation communication technique. The second day focused on environmentally-friendly or, 'Green', communications and the third day focused on key B4G technologies.
